Great Wolf Lodge, NC

The journey to Great Wolf Lodge (GWL) began at approximately 0330.  We had the van loaded up the night before and the only thing to do was grab the cooler and plug it in.  (I'd like to take a moment to give honorable mention to our new coller....AWESOME....it is a coleman that plugs into the back of our van.  Everything fit perfectly and no melting ice to water log our food:)

We hit the road at 0415....left all the kids in jammies while Jason and I chugged 2 pots of coffee!

Breakfast consisted of our Veggie Muffins, once again a hugh hit!!!!  We only stopped for gas and rest room breaks.  We arrived at GWL at 1330 and had to wait around for our room to be ready (check in is at 4) we were prepared and had our swimsuits packed seperately....off to the water park.....

The water park had several tall water slides that required LOTS of stair climbing.  IT WAS PACKED!!!  Finding somewhere to put our stuff was a challenge (there are cabanas $99 available).
There is a smaller area for little ones to play...and a couple water slides for our petite 2 year old.  Our 4 year old was measured and given an arm band identifing her size and what slides she could use.  Our big girls were free to run :)

We met up with the Snows on this evening, at STICKY FINGERS (yay) for a bite to eat :}  (we LOVE Sticky)  This was such a sweet moment to be able to see our precious little man!  He is doing so well....and is now where God truely intended....He was born to live in the SNOWMOBILE!

Back at the resort....we stayed in the majestic bear suite...it could sleep 8, 6 comfortably, had a fridge and microwave, and two bathrooms (bonus).....If we ever go back (and we will) we would rather stay in the loft suite, with fireplace.

We spent our hours at the water park followed by some Magi Quest (tons of fun), requires loads of stair climbing, again!  The kids loaved running around with their wands trying to find everything.

We also participated in the bedtime story, where it snowed and had an appearance from the wolf (i don't know his name) and the wolf walk in the morning, where our kids made origami wolves....
